You’ve just purchased a new Utah home in Salt Lake City! Lots of decorating goes into your home to help make it feel more complete. As you settle into your new place, here are some items you should consider:

Plan it out --  Before moving everything in, decide now what you want each room to be.  Don’t forget to include that study, home gym, game room, or man-cave you’ve always wanted.

Entertainment Room – Consider buying a new TV that will fit your style of living. Also, installing a sound system throughout your home will help you improve your viewing experiences.

Furniture – Comfortable furniture should be a priority for all new Salt Lake City, Utah homes. After all, you’ve made a large investment in your home.  Customize it to fit your needs so that you always enjoy being there.  Remember, you don’t have to purchase entirely new furniture.  Look at ideas from pinterest.com (use search terms like ‘home ideas’, ‘furniture ideas’) on how to customize furniture you already have.

Accessories – Spruce up your new home with some accessories. Art, vases, candles, and rugs are great items to add some spark to your home and complement your furniture. If you’re on a tight budget, consider searching online for low cost crafting ideas.

GardenWith Springtime just around the corner (hopefully), now is the time to start planning for a garden.  Plant your favorite fruits, vegetables, and plants that you can place throughout your home.  Gardening inside your new ‘Utah green home’ can be easy and provide a break from a stressful day.

These are just some suggestions, but remember, your home typically reflects who you are.  Do your best to make your new home part of you and your family!
